Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza is a club that already does not yield to the representatives of the national elite. During the winter break, the team went on a double training camp to Turkey. The idea was born out of concerns that January in Poland is a rather unfavorable month in terms of weather. We have a fairly good training base, but snowfall and frost during this period are something natural - explains vice-president Rafał Wisłocki. While some league rivals' unfavorable weather thwarted the start of preparations, Termalika's players could enjoy excellent weather. The two camps were separated by a short break, during which most players returned to Poland, foreign players had the opportunity to return to their countries for a short time. Some, however, stayed in Turkey, bringing their families for the break. These few days were crucial for mental and physical rest. The solution met with great approval from the players - adds the vice-president. During the camps in Turkey, Bruk-Bet played six control matches, each against a representative of a different league. The balance is three wins, a draw, and two losses. The most goals - three each - were scored by Kamil Zapolnik and Jakub Wróbel. Kacper Karasek scored two goals. Termalica, which in the fall won fourteen out of nineteen league matches, suffered only two defeats and worked out a seven-point advantage over third-placed Miedź Legnica, and in the winter, they solidly strengthened the squad, which was already very strong. Everything is done so that in a few months, they can enjoy the long-awaited promotion. We strengthened the defense line primarily because we felt that this is where we need to increase competition. Three players joined us who can basically create a new defense - says Wisłocki. The mentioned trio includes Bartosz Kopacz, Wiktor Matyjewicz, and Thiago Dombroski. The first has an impressive number of appearances in Ekstraklasa and has already shown in friendlies that he can give the team a lot of quality. In the past, he was a Termalika player. Matyjewicz comes from nearby Tarnów and after an adventure in Italy and Greece, where he made his debut in the local top league with Kalithei, is to increase competition in the center of defense. For now, he has joined Nieciecza on a half-year loan. The third defender is a Brazilian of Polish descent. Since last June, he has had a Polish passport. He is learning the language and in the long run, may turn out to be a successful transfer move. In the colors of Coritiba, he played several matches in the Brazilian Serie A, and it even happened that he was chosen as the player of the match. For now, however, he needs time to acclimate. The offense was strengthened by Dominik Biniek and Krzysztof Kubica. Both are well known to Marcin Brosz. The first from the U-19 team, the second from the times of Górnik Zabrze, where he particularly impressed with effective goals scored with his head. Dominik may turn out to be the discovery of the round as a young player. He went through the entire training process in England, spending most of his time at Bury FC and Blackburn Rovers, but also had the opportunity to get to know the Manchester City academy - says the vice-president of Bruk-Bet. Kubica spent the last half year at Motor, where he certainly expected more minutes. In connection with the strengthening of the team, the club will probably part with several young players before the games, who in the fall were not its main characters.
